Webcam: I have been using a logitech c920 for the past 2.5 years. I use it for tutoring online as well as to record YouTube videos.

Tablet: I am often asked what tablet I recommend for tutoring online. I personally don’t use a tablet for teaching math online, but this is similar to the one that I own and have used.

Microphone: I currently use this mic, placed on a stand. I will warn you that it does pick up on external noise, so if you have kids or pets, that can be picked up by the mic. I have used this one for almost two years. No mic is perfect, so you have to choose what works for you!

Update 11/4/21: Now that I have two little ones, I invested in a podcast mic that would pick up on less external noise. You can find it below! It’s called the Samson Q2U Microphone.

Mic Stand: The mic pictured above is placed on a mic stand out of view when I’m recording or conducting a session.

Mouse: I prefer a wireless mouse to keep things less messy in my office and makes it easier to manipulate an online whiteboard software such as BitPaper.

Headphones will prevent any feedback caused by a speaker being on. If you have a speaker on while speaking to a student, they may hear an echo, so headphones can prevent that issue.

I currently use the Sony WH-1000XM2, which I purchased a couple years ago. This particular model is the WH-1000XM3.

Lighting

In my first year of business, I used this table lamp to light my face. I no longer use it in my office, but I still use it as a bedside lamp!

This is my current lighting setup. I have two large umbrella lights. One in the corner behind me, and one directly in front of me.

Cell Phone Tripod - I use this for taking videos with my cell phone.

Multi-function Printer: Even though my business is online, I still like to have hard copies of certain things. That’s why I use this printer!

Multi-drawer Cart: I use this cart to store pens, pencils, and anything I need to quickly grab while I’m working in my office!

These may not be the exact products I use, as product availability has changed. I shared links to products most similiar to what I personally own.
