About Me
8 years ago, I quit teaching for good. My body couldn’t take it anymore. My health was deteriorating. I knew deep down that working in the classroom wasn’t a sustainable career path for me. I was devastated, but also determined.
Thankfully, I’m known for being a bit unconventional (which made me a target for childhood bullies, ugh) and it worked in my favor. I discovered I could use my love of teaching to make money online on my own terms! And best of all, no boss. Hooray!
It all began with my online tutoring business in 2018. Since then, I’ve made money over $85K online in a multitude of ways — teaching, courses, coaching, sponsorships, memberships, affiliate marketing, & the list goes on!
My Core Values
I am a teacher known for working with the troublemakers. The kids with the “challenging behavior” the kids who are misunderstood, underestimated, and labeled “dumb”.
I don’t believe in the concept of “smart/not smart” I believe every individual has unique strengths and weaknesses. I believe giving kids the “smart” label is damaging. I was not the smart kid. I did well in school, but I worked my butt off to get there, and it did not come easy.
I’m the girl who begged to be put in honors classes. Academics might not have come naturally, but I had a lot of cultural pressure to be good at school and get into a good college.
I don’t believe college is the right for everyone. I think it really depends on the career path you want to pursue. Otherwise, you just end up with a lot of student debt.
I don’t believe in the concept of fixed intelligence. I think anyone can be “good at math” with the right teacher & the right support for their learning style.
I don’t think excelling academically, such as in math and science, makes you smarter/better than other people.
I don’t think specific professions, like doctors and engineers, are above others. I don’t think your salary dictates your value or worth. Teachers have a rough job, they should get paid more AND get better support. Mental health MATTERS.

Fun Facts
After having children, I used a wheelchair and/or rollator because I couldn’t walk normally. People assumed my disability was “in my head”. I have both mental health issues & physical ailments. Every day I fight for my health. That means good sleep hygiene, regular physical activity, no social media, & a eating a plant-focused diet. Healing is not linear.
Over the last 13 months, I’ve completed FIVE 5k races! This is truly a miracle. A few years ago I struggled to walk a few blocks without pain.
In terms of my businesses
I built a low-maintenance, flexible business out of NECESSITY, not because I’m drinking mimosas on the beach (also, I’ve been alcohol-free for 8 years)
Over 85k in revenue over the last 7 years
12k+ subscribers on YouTube
My business revenue increased and my workload decreased drastically AFTER I quit social media (no Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Linkedin, Twitter…. i’m free!)
